Landscape Character Survey

Closed 30 May 2018

Opened 4 Apr 2018

Overview

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council is undertaking landscape assessments as part of the new Local Development Plan 2030. To assist this process, we would like to find out about your favourite landscapes and places within the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough.

Only the submitted comments regarding the Council’s Landscape Character Survey and associated documents may be published by the Council and no personal details will be disclosed unless your permission is given. The Council will comply with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998.

Why your views matter

We would like to hear your views and find out about your favourite landscapes and places. These may be hills, drumlins or valleys close to your home or further afield within the Borough, the kinds of places you might choose to take a friend visiting the area. These landscapes may be special places or may be important in your everyday life and can include landscapes that cross the boundaries into neighbouring council areas.
