Have your say on the Draft Disability Action Plan 2020-2025

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council has published its draft Disability Action Plan, and we now want your feedback on it.

Under Section 49a of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (as amended by the Disability Discrimination (Northern Ireland) Order 2006), public authorities when carrying out their functions, must have due regard to the need to:

•promote positive attitudes towards disabled people; and

•encourage participation by disabled people in public life.

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council has produced the Draft Disability Action Plan (DAP) to show our commitment to making the Borough accessible to all who live, work and visit here.
