Overview

There is a lot happening in Parks and I am sure you have seen some changes for the better in your area.

Parks have been working in partnership with Roads Service to upgrade and maintain many of our roundabouts and we are always looking for ways to brighten up our parks and open spaces with the introduction of wildflower meadows.

We work in partnership with local town and village groups and businesses to improve their areas with stunning hanging baskets and creative flower displays. 

To date, the Borough has been recognised once again, in the achievement of 16 Green Flag awards and winning the prestigious Ulster in Bloom Award for four of our towns and villages including a list of towns that have also won Best in Britain, All Ireland and Ulster awards.
